Young Adult

Transitions

Whether it’s post graduation depression, anxiety about finding a job, navigating social changes or figuring out what you want out of life - we’re here to help.

There’s no official guide for adults

One day there’s structure — school schedules, family routines, clear expectations. The next day, it’s up to you.

College. A job. A gap year. A move. A breakup. It’s freedom, and a lot more responsibility.

For many young adults, this shift is destabilizing. Especially if anxiety, depression, ADHD, or other challenges are already in the picture. Our Transitions Program is designed specifically for ages 18–24 navigating day-to-day life and what comes next.

How Blackbird can help

  • Build Confidence

When the future feels unclear, it’s easy to question every decision. We help young adults clarify what matters to them and move forward with steadier self-trust.

  • Get Unstuck

Feeling stuck often looks like overthinking, procrastinating, or spinning in indecision. We identify what’s keeping you stalled and create a concrete path forward.

  • Manage Anxiety & Perfectionism

High standards and high stress often go hand in hand. We teach tools to regulate anxiety in the moment while loosening perfectionistic patterns that keep you tense or avoidant.

  • Create Routines

Without built-in structure, sleep, productivity, and self-care can unravel. We help design realistic routines that support mental health, focus, and follow-through.

  • Break Patters of Avoidance

Avoidance can temporarily lower stress but often increases it over time. We work to interrupt these cycles and build momentum through small, sustainable action.

  • Navigate Changing Friendship

Transitions reshape relationships — some deepen, others fade. We support clearer communication, healthier boundaries, and stronger connections that fit who you’re becoming.
