Child Assessments That Bring Clarity
Comprehensive evaluations for ADHD, autism, anxiety and behavioral challenges that reveal the full story.
Why a comprehensive child assessment matters
When a child is struggling, families often know something isn’t right - but can’t get clear answers.
Many challenges overlap, like ADHD, anxiety, sensory differences, or learning issues. When only one piece is addressed, progress can stall.
Our assessments look at the whole child - how their brain, body, and behavior come together - to help families understand what’s happening and what to do next.
Understanding, not guess work
“Our child had anxiety, but we learned what was behind it was a language processing disorder making it hard for them to take in new information. Once we learned that, therapy worked in a totally different way and we were able to make real progress ”

going onA treatment plan tailored to your child's unique needs
Immediate next steps—whether that's therapy, medication support, or other care
We're here to help you understand your child and know what to do next.
Understand your child. Move forward.
Step 1
A comprehensive assessment
We take a different approach - starting with a full evaluation of the whole child. We look across ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, sensory issues, and more, to understand everything that’s going on.
Step 2
A clear diagnosis and treatment plan
You'll receive a detailed explanation of what's causing your child's struggles. This includes any co-occurring conditions. You'll also get a roadmap for the most effective treatment.
Step 3
Coordinated care tailored to your child
Your child is matched with the right specialists based on their assessment results. This might include therapy, play therapy, or medication support. Care starts right away, not months later.
What our child assessments uncover
-
Does your child struggle with focus, sitting still, or acting before thinking? Our ADHD evaluation looks beyond surface behaviors.
We observe your child's attention patterns, impulsivity, and emotional regulation during our up-to-90-minute assessment. We also screen for other conditions like anxiety that often happen together—in fact, 42% of children with ADHD also have anxiety. This helps us create the right plan.
-
Is your child having trouble with social cues, communication, or sensory sensitivities? Our autism evaluation shows how autism affects your child's daily life.
We assess communication patterns, social interaction, sensory processing, and repetitive behaviors through observation and caregiver interviews. We catch traits that are often overlooked—these traits can impact learning and relationships. ADHD and autism occur together in 18% of cases, so we always look at the full picture.
Most families can schedule an autism evaluation within 1-2 months, compared to 18-24 month wait times common elsewhere.
-
Is your child avoiding school, struggling with sleep, or having stomachaches? Does worry take over their thoughts or keep them from doing things they enjoy? Our anxiety assessment uncovers the root causes.
We evaluate worry patterns, physical symptoms, avoidance behaviors, and triggers during our comprehensive assessment. We talk with you and your child about when anxiety started, what makes it worse, and how it affects daily life. We also look at family history and any stressful events that may be contributing.
We figure out if it's generalized anxiety, social anxiety, separation anxiety, panic disorder, or perfectionism. Anxiety and depression occur together in 22% of children, which is why we screen for both. Understanding the full picture helps us create a plan to help your child feel safe again.
-
Is your child withdrawing from friends and activities? Are they irritable, tearful, or lacking energy and motivation? Our depression assessment helps identify what's really going on.
We assess mood, energy levels, sleep patterns, appetite changes, and how your child feels about themselves and their future. We talk with you and your child about how long symptoms have been present and what might be contributing—like stress at school, family changes, or trauma.
We also screen for other conditions that can look like depression, such as ADHD or anxiety. In fact, 22% of children with depression also have anxiety. Our assessment helps us understand if depression is the primary concern or if multiple conditions are at play, so we can create the most effective treatment plan.
-
From depression and mood struggles to behavioral challenges, our mental health assessment looks at the full picture.
We assess mood, energy levels, behavioral patterns, sleep, and how your child functions at home and school. We see how your child's brain and body are working together to create the struggles you're seeing. This helps us treat the real cause.
-
Most children who need support have more than one condition affecting them—we call these "co-occurring conditions."
Our whole-child approach catches important connections that are often missed. Like when ADHD and anxiety overlap (42% of cases), anxiety and depression occur together (22%), or ADHD and autism co-occur (18%). Understanding these connections changes everything about treatment.

If in-person care is clinically necessary, our team will recommend in-person appointments moving forward.
